    Advanced parameters:
     IG  Immature Granulocyte Count

It is particularly suitable for patients who are highly susceptible to infection due to a suppressed immune system, as an increase in IG count indicates the severity of an early innate immune response.
On traditional blood analyzers, the presence of immature granulocytes is usually flagged, requiring microscopic examination. This methodological IG counting significantly reduces this screening rate. It allows inclusion in the complete CBC+DIFF analysis, making it a valuable sixth subset of leukocytes.
Based on their fluorescence intensity, RET cells are divided into three categories :
LFR (low fluorescence ratio) mature reticular cells
MFR (medium fluorescence ratio) semi-mature reticular cells
HFR (high fluorescence ratio) immature reticular cells
    RET-He reticulocyte hemoglobin content
RET-He is the fastest method for detecting changes in iron status and is an early marker of disease—earlier than clinical chemical markers. It is considered the most sensitive indicator of iron availability for erythropoiesis currently available. Since red blood cells have a lifespan of 120 days, detecting iron deficiency and changes in iron status in erythropoiesis using classic hematological parameters such as HGB, MCV, and MCH, or by measuring hypochromic red blood cells, can only be done relatively late.

    Applicable scenarios:
Pet hospitals and clinics: dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, miniature pigs, alpacas
